The soil consists mainly of Rotliegend with a high gravel content, which leads to a very warm location. This exceptional warmth gives the wines grown here an intense maturity and structure.

 

The wines from the Kriegsheimer Rosengarten are powerful, have a velvety texture and are characterized by their deep dark berry aromas.
