The Untertürkheim Herzogenberg is an exclusive monopoly site that impresses not only with its history but also with its exceptional soil. Some of the oldest Cabernet Franc vines in Germany are located here, making this site a unique treasure in the German wine landscape.

The soil of the Herzogenberg consists mainly of gypsum Keuper, a mineral-rich and well-ventilated formation that gives the wines an unmistakable finesse and structure. These geological features, combined with the old vines, create powerful, profound wines that impress with their elegance and complexity. The wines from the Untertürkheim Herzogenberg are characterized by spicy notes and fine fruit aromas - a real gem for connoisseurs.
