The Dalsheimer Bürgel is a VDP.Große Lage in Rheinhessen, which impresses with its outstanding quality and special terroir. The vineyards face east, which ensures a cooler temperature and promotes late ripening of the grapes. This longer ripening period gives the wines a special elegance and sophistication.

The soil is characterized by calcareous subsoil and heavy clay. The limestone gives the wines a fine minerality, while the clay increases the water retention capacity, which is particularly beneficial in dry years. The combination of cool climate and demanding soil results in wines of great finesse, depth and longevity.
